Container Services

Container services are available at the CT1, CT2, CT3, and CT4 designated container terminals. The terminals are fully equipped with state-of-the-art handling equipment and facilities to meet the growing demand for container services. The broad network given by driving worldwide delivery lines has empowered the port to use its situation and arise as a significant provincial parcel centre point. 

Non-Containerized Cargo Services

Non-containerised cargoes are overseen at two fundamental offices – a committed ordinary freight terminal in Southpoint and the regular freight terminals. These facilities provide a wide range of services for handling liquid bulk, dry bulk, and break bulk conventional cargoes. The consolidated taking care of limit concerning the two terminals is 12 million tons. 

Break Bulk Services

Iron, steel, timber, plywood, machinery, RORO, and livestock are among the break bulk cargoes handled at the port. In addition, the port has improved its capacity to permit the repackaging and distribution of goods and raw materials within the port’s premises, further enhancing the value of its break bulk services. 

Dry Bulk Services

The port oversees dry mass cargoes like grain, maize, coal, marine salt, and compost. The dry bulk cargoes are discharged using three level luffing cranes. The mass terminal likewise handles the stacking of clinker and comparative freight utilizing these cranes, guaranteeing proficient tasks. 

Liquid Bulk Services

Pipelines load and unload liquid bulk commodities from specially constructed vessels like tankers efficiently. Handled cargo including liquid chemicals, petroleum products, and crude palm oil at the terminal. The terminal features four wharves with an annual capacity of 4.1 million FWTs. The total quay length is 0.8 km, accommodating vessels up to 60,000 tons in displacement. Maximum depth alongside is 11.5 meters, ensuring efficient handling of large liquid bulk vessels.
